Snap-8 (acetyl octapeptide-3) is a two-amino-acid extension of acetyl hexapeptide-8 and derives from the N-terminus of the protein SNAP-25. Stand-alone studies on Snap-8 alone cannot be found in PubMed; the available literature concerns the parent compound or ingredient mixtures.
